Having a hard time finding a unique Mother’s Day gift? Or are you a busy mom who wants to give subtle hints at gifts that you could REALLY use? Sure, the flowers, chocolate, perfume, and candles are all sweet and definitely appreciated. But, I can think of a few more things that busy moms really want for Mother’s Day.
Cleaning Service
Whether it’s for one day, or for a whole year (or longer!). I think any amount of help getting the house cleaned and getting household tasks done is much appreciated! I know I spend at least 5 hours a week cleaning up after my crew, so being able to cut that number down, even for a week would help me get some rest! I’m sure other moms feel the same! So, surprise the busy mom in your life with the gift of a clean home!

Grocery Delivery Service
I’ve raved about this before, and can’t stop talking about it. Grocery delivery is definitely the way to go for any busy mom! An annual subscription to a service like Shipt or Instacart would be a welcomed gift for any busy mom in your life, I’m sure. A service like this allows moms to save time and money by not having to walk through the grocery store aisles with kids. With an annual subscription, there’s no delivery fee as long as your order is at the minimum required amount. You just order online and get groceries delivered within 2 hours. An annual membership for Instacart Express currently runs $99 and Shipt is $99 per year, but is discounted when referred by a member (this is my member link if interested). Believe me, it’s well worth it!
Meal Delivery Service
Meal Delivery Kits save busy moms the hassle of grocery shopping for meal ingredients. She can simply select meals that her family will enjoy, the ingredients are delivered to her home, and she follows the included recipes to make the meals. For those moms who love to cook, this idea can still be a huge time-saver. No meal-planning or shopping involved. Home Chef, Blue Apron, Sun Basket and Hello Fresh, are ones that I have tried. At the top of my list, though, is Blue Apron for variety and flavor. The prices vary based on the plan size and the company that you choose to go with. They can be a little pricey, but so worth it if received as a gift!

Bulk Shopping Membership
Any busy mom with multiple kids would love a membership to a bulk shopping warehouse. Stocking up saves a lot of time and money. Plus, makes her less likely to run out of things around the house. Stores like Sam’s Club, BJ’s, and Costco offer memberships with different perks. I’ve used Boxed for bulk shopping online. The benefit of Boxed is not having to worry about a membership fee. But, they do have a paid option called Boxed Up, which gives perks like rewards and free shipping.
Amazon Prime Membership
Of course, most people are familiar with Amazon by now. You can order just about anything through Amazon Prime online and get it on your doorstep within 1-2 days. That’s better than most stores out there, and can be helpful for ordering and reordering household goods. You can’t really beat the convenience of Amazon – and convenience is one thing that most moms need more of! With an Amazon Prime membership, you also have access to Prime Video, Prime Music, and special discounts through Prime Family. You even have access to another grocery delivery service with same-day delivery through Prime Now! Amazon also runs tons of specials everyday. It has saved our family a ton of money! An Amazon Prime membership currently runs $119.
Babysitter
Whether it’s to go out for a date night, to go out with friends, or to just have some quiet time alone. All moms need a breather every now and then. Of course, we all love our children, but it’s helpful to have another reliable soul watch them, even for an hour or two when we just need a break. So, hire a local babysitter as a Mother’s Day gift for the busy mom in your life!
Spa Day
Most women love to be pampered, but very few moms actually have that luxury very often. We’re so busy taking care of everyone else that we forget to take care of our basic needs many times. Forget about anything extra! Even a one-time pampering session would be much appreciated – this could be a massage, manicure/pedicure, etc. Anything to ease those tired muscles, hands, and feet!
Peace and Quiet
This is by far the number one thing that I’d love on Mother’s Day. If I could just have a day filled with happiness and love, peace and quiet, I wouldn’t need anything else! No arguing, no competitions, no whining – everyone just getting along and helping out. Oh, I would be one happy mom! This is all wishful thinking, but still I love my kids just as they are. Without them, Mother’s Day wouldn’t even be a holiday for me. But, a little peace and quiet would still be a welcomed gift. So, find a way to make it happen for the busy moms in your life!
