Sharing is caring!

One year ago, I had the crazy idea of starting a blog.

When I told those close to me about it, they thought I was NUTS.

“Don’t you think you have enough on your plate already?”

“Where do you find the time?”

“When do you sleep?”

I got all types of questions.

But, the truth is, I’ve always had a heart for children – that’s why I became a Pediatrician in the first place! But, bigger than that – I have a heart for supporting the women who care for those children. The moms I see in my everyday practice. The ones I pass in the store. Or meet online. Busy women, like myself, who really just want to be the best they can be, but have a hard time fitting everything into their busy schedules.

I realize that the more I support these women (YOU!), the better the outcomes for the families they take care of. And that’s why I do what I do!

If you’ve stuck with me from the beginning, I know you, too, probably can’t believe it’s been a year. Today is actually the Wifey Mommy Doc one-year blogiversary! The time really has flown by, but I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. Every post, every challenge, every e-mail, every survey, every comment, every picture. All of it!

I’ve grown a lot this past year. I’ve learned so much about the struggles that busy working wives and moms face. Most of your struggles are a lot like mine. Some are very different. Whether you know it or not – you’ve taught me so much.

But, no matter what your struggles, I hope I was able to help you out even a little. Even if just ONE post made a difference to you, then I know I’m doing the right thing!
